Troopers: Only 1 passing school bus violation in eastern Carolina

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Troopers say they handed out nearly 1,500 violations during Operation Stop Arm.
The operation focused on cracking down on those who do not follow the law around school buses.
In some eastern counties including Pitt, Lenoir, and Craven counties, troopers report only one person passed a school bus.
They did give out 18 child safety seat violations and over 170 other seat belt violations. Most violations involved speed.
